I can't connect my ORCID account, what do I need to do?

Answer

There are a few different reasons you may be having issues connecting your ORCID account.

1. I do not currently have a Z number. To use the ORCID tool at LANL you will need a Z number. If you do not have a Z# or are waiting for one, please contact orcid-team@lanl.gov to help you.

2. I'm working remotely and can't connect? This is an issue with the server ORCiD is hosted on at LANL. You will have to be linked manually, so please contact orcid-team@lanl.gov.
